More Than 50 Early Stage Company Reviews at Nanotech Ventures 2005

Small technologies are rapidly maturing from lab to marketplace. The Nanotech Ventures 2005 Early Stage Company Review provides an ideal forum for "seed" to "early-stage" companies to showcase their technologies, market advantages, and to search for funding. Companies are given 15 minutes to present and will have on-site feedback from Nanotech Ventures Vetting Team. This years team includes representatives from such firms as: IBM, Intel Capital, Mohr, Davidow Ventures, Burns Doane, DuPont Ventures, ChevronTexaco Technology Ventures, Motorola Investments, Echelon Ventures, Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr, Harris and Harris Group, Greenberg Traurig, 3i, UBS and Draper Fisher Jurvetson.
The Nano Science and Technology Institute (NSTI) today announced its Nanotech Ventures 2005 Conference to be held on May 9-10, 2005, at the Anaheim Marriott Conference Center, which will exceed over 50 early stage nanotech companies presenting at its annual Early Stage Review.

The goal of the Early Stage event is to unite early stage public and pre-IPO small-technology products and intellectual property (IP) with industrial users, funding sources, technology providers and the media and analysts community. This venue will be used to promote the commercial maturation across the nanotechnology landscape, globally from technology to products.

The format is a fast-paced event consisting of a 15-minute briefing covering the products, target customers and business/licensing model for the presenting company. This will be followed by a short review from members of the panel including Q & A. Further one-on-one networking and business development discussions are held in preset meeting areas.

Nanotech Ventures runs concurrently with the Nanotech 2005 Conference taking place on May 8-12, 2005. Now celebrating its 8th year, Nanotech2005 is the world’s largest nanotechnology conference of its kind. The five-day conference provides over 60 sessions on business and finance related to nanotechnology. The event also profiles new companies and technologies and encourage business and scientific discussion among nanotech and financial industry leaders.
