Bulgaria and IBM Sign Nanotech Collaboration Agreement

Collaboration will jump start activities of new Bulgarian Center of Nanotechnology
The agreement was signed this month by Bulgaria’s Deputy Finance Minister and IBM’s CEO for Central and Eastern Europe. It is expected that IBM Bulgaria will be a critical partner for the country’s nanotechnology projects, which will include nanomaterials and micro machines. Bulgaria’s commitment to nanotechnology R&D can be added to a growing list of European countries that are building centers dedicated to nanotechnology research, including Scotland and Russia.
