Keywords: , ,

Solids loading of around 65 vol.% (against the reported 50 vol.%) and 70 vol.% (against the reported 56 vol.%) were achieved for SiC and AlN feedstocks using bimodal micro-nano (μ/n) powder mixtures, respectively. The injection molded SiC and AlN parts exhibited a green density of 2.45 g/cc (% relative density: 76%) and 2.6 g/cc (% relative density: 80%), respectively. Around 98% relative density is obtained with no hold time at sintering temperature under inert atmosphere.
