Keywords: , ,

The synthesis of flame made Ag/SiO2 nanoparticles was achieved by flame spray pyrolysis. The precursor selection influence on the final product was studied. The produced powders were characterized by TEM/STEM, XRD, BET, UV/vis. Additionally, the antibacterial acftivity of these nanoparticles was tested against the E. coli bacteria. Comparison to existing literature and direct correlation on the Ag sizes and content was made.
