The objective of the research is to develop a new drug delivery system based on polyurethane microparticles for the treatment of tuberculosis by pulmonary administration to the lungs. The synthesis and characterization of polyurethane microcapsules are studied making use three molecular weight poly(ethylene glycol), poly(propylene glycol) and tolylene-2,4-diisocyanate.
