A microcantilever array platform is used for the detection of DNA hybridization and mRNA using selected immobilized oligonucleotides. Parallel detection on sixteen cantilevers are carried out simultaneously. The immobilization procedure and the results of the cantilever response for the different probe-target interactions are presented.
