National Nanotechnology Infrastructure - GATech - Microelectronics Research Center

The mission of Georgia Tech’s Microelectronics Research Center (MiRC) is to provide expertise, facilities, infrastructure, and teaming environments to enable and facilitate interdisciplinary research in microelectronics, integrated optoelectronics and microsensors and actuators. We have a wide range of resources available at the microelectronics research center to enable nanotechnology research through National Nanotechnology Infrastructure Network (NNIN). The NNIN is an integrated networked partnership of user facilities, supported by the National Science Foundation, serving the needs of nanoscale science, engineering and technology. NNIN is a research facilitator, providing the high technology equipment resources, staff expertise, and training to enable high quality nanoscale research. Please click the link www.nnin.org to know more about these opportunities. The Georgia Tech-NNIN site emphasizes the application of nanofabrication to bioengineering and biomedicine. The MiRC is housed in its own 100,000 sq. ft. building that includes an 8,500 sq. ft. cleanroom (75% class 100, 25% class 10). Please click the link grover.mirc.gatech.edu, to know more about the resources available at the GT- MiRC.
