SET, Inc. is commercializing proprietary and patented technology for fabrication of novel semiconductor-based electronic ultraviolet light sources. Conventional sources of ultraviolet light used in water/air purification, analytical and medical instrumentation, general lighting, curing of inks and polymers are Mercury, Xenon and Deuterium lamps and solid state and gas lasers. They are bulky, expensive, contain toxic materials, use high voltages and provide limited spectral features. Our novel semiconductor sources (UV Light Emitting Diodes and modules) are compact, consume low power, do not contain toxic materials, have long lifetime and offer unmatched functionality and design flexibility. We supply ultraviolet light components and provide solutions for diverse homeland security, global sanitation, industrial and commercial markets. To date, SET, Inc. has shipped products to over 700 customers worldwide. We are looking for funding and partnerships to accelerate technology development, expand manufacturing capacity and transition to aggressive marketing.
