feed resource recovery

S. Eten
feed resource recovery, US

Cleantech company, Feed Resource Recovery (feed), provides supermarkets and restaurants simple onsite waste conversion systems that produce renewable energy and organic fertilizer from previously discarded organic waste (anything biodegradable). By incorporating a proven waste conversion technology, a commercially available distributed energy generation unit, and our recently developed proprietary automation and remote management capabilities into an enclosed unit, feed has created an innovative, cleantech solution for waste management. Complemented by value-added services, these systems provide an all-in-one solution enabling customers to turn what was once a liability, food waste, into a valuable source of energy, fertilizer and PR. Since Incorporating in January 2007, the company has compiled a portfolio of provisional patents, developed a pilot scale demonstration unit that operates at company headquarters in Burlington, MA, and finalized a long-term contract with a large regional supermarket chain.
