	Tao Zhang Director Intellectual Property Licensing (IPL) Organization Hewlett-Packard Company

Tao Zhang is a Director with the Intellectual Property Licensing (IPL) Organization of Hewlett-Packard Company (HP). Her main responsibilities include managing the IP Licensing teams in Asia Pacific region as well as driving Technology Licensing programs for HPLabs inventions. Prior to that, Tao was the director of IP Licensing responsible for storage patent portfolio license.

Tao has been with HP for seventeen plus years. She joined HP as an R&D III-V device development engineer, and moved on to various people management and program management roles within HP in areas such as strategic alliance contracts negotiation and supply chain management. Tao has a B.S. in Physics Department from Peking University, China, and holds a M.S. and Ph.D. in Physics Department from Stanford University. In addition, she is a co-author of four US granted patents.
