carbon nanotubes, quantum dots, organic electroluminescence

Our uniquely sensitive spectroscopic instruments have facilitated a number of seminal observations in the field of nanoscale semiconductor luminescence. These observations range from the original characterizations of quantum dot nanocrystals, single-walled carbon nanotubes and bucky-balls in addition to major breakthroughs in organic electroluminescence. The significance and direct applicability of these breakthroughs are becoming thoroughly established in the biomedical, material and physical sciences. We will outline our plans to design instruments which will continue to support the future trends of academic research and the economic market for nanotechnology.
