Ceralink Inc., US

glass lamination, radio frequency heating, RF, automotive glass, architechtural glass, flat glass, tempered glass, safety glass, hurricane glass, armor glass

Ceralink developed an RF pressing method to dramatically reduce energy usage by >95% for fabricating glass/vinyl laminates. The RF press heats the vinyl, but not the glass or surroundings, achieving crystal clear laminates. This 1 step process replaces a 3 step, energy intensive autoclave based batch process.
