A case study in Sizing Nanoparticles'' One problem is routinely discussed when talking about nanoparticles, what is the best way to determine the particle size. In particular, what should be done if your nanoparticles are removed from solution and allowed to aggregate. Four separate materials were selected and sized using TEM, dynamic light scattering or PCS, and finally an average particle size is calculated from a measured BET surface area. The results are discussed and summarized in this poster.
