Dr. Stevens joined OTD in 1995. He has worked in the biotechnology industry for seventeen years, with both start-up companies and academic organizations, to assist in turning promising ideas into useful products.

He was formerly director of the Office of Technology Transfer at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, a teaching affiliate of the Harvard Medical School. He was cofounder and general manager of Genmap, Inc., and was vice president of business development for BioTechnica International. He started his career with the Procter and Gamble Company, where he held a number of positions in sales, marketing, strategic planning, and acquisitions. He represents OTD’s direct investment in Infolibria.

Dr. Stevens holds a Bachelor of Arts in Natural Sciences, and a Master of Arts and a Doctor of Philosophy in Physical Chemistry from Oxford University. He is a member of the Licensing Executives Society and the Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM).
