Abstract:
In this paper three-dimensional (3D) titania nanostructures assembled with rutile nanorods have been fabricated via a hydrothermal reaction route. The effects of preparation parameters including the reaction temperatures and the reactant concentrations, on the microstructure, optical properties and photocatalytic activity of the 3D TiO2 nanostructures were investigated. The crystal property, surface and pore properties and diameter of the products were significantly altered with these changes in hydrothermal conditions. When the oleic acid was added to the reactant ,the shape was exchanged to rod clusters(Fig.1.a). Ag/TiO2 microsphere were obtained by hydrothermal synthesis of TiO2 microspheres at 180℃for 12h. The samples were characterized by X-raydiffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM), photoluminescence spectrum (PL), UV–vis absorption spectrum(UV–vis), and Raman spectrum, respectively.SEM and XRD results showed that Ag were well dispersed on the surface of TiO2 with metallic state. Here, the article completely compounded approach (3D) TiO2 nanostructures with favorable rutile nanorods architectures through hydrothermal synthesis. Absorption and photocatalytic properties of the samples were found to be dependent on their morphology. PL emission (Fig.2.) mainly results from the recombination of excited electron–hole pairs, and lower emission intensity indicates the decrease of recombination rate.
