| Abstract: | Thermic oil based nanofluids are prepared by adding alumina nanoparticles for convective heat transfer study. Experimental study is carried out for the hydrodynamically developer laminar flow under constant heat flux condition. * Convective heat transfer enhancement * Increase in Nusselt number * No significant rise in friction factor for nanofluid in comparison with pure thermic fluid * Correlations proposed for Nusselt number and friction factor. |
