| Abstract: | Radon is classified as the second leading cause of lung cancer in the US. There have been plenty of trials to mitigate indoor radon gas which penetrated through the floor cracks, building materials and groundwater from underground. People were told that ventilation is the best way to mitigate which is true. However, due to many reasons such as energy consumption in winter, people relatively do not ventilate indoor air. Therefore, this study was about applying nano-size carbon colloid to air cleaner filters to figure out if this nano material is efficient to grab radon gas. |
