| Abstract: | We present a theoretical study of our proposed gravimeter on a chip. A gravimeter is a device used to measure gravity. In contrast to conventional gravimeters, our gravimeter is expected to be microscale, cheaper, more robust, and self-calibratable without an external reference. Post-packaged self-calibration is the most novel feature of our device. All previous gravimeters require external references for calibration. Besides measuring gravity, our device is expected to function as a sub-micro-gravity accelerations. |
