Abstract:	In this study, yttrium oxide nanophosphors doped with Tb and Eu ions were made by flame aerosol technology. The emission color of these nanophosphors could be precisely tuned from green to red by tuning the ratio of the rere earth doping ions. Such nanoparticles may have applications in optical applications such as lasers and displays, as well as in bio-imaging.
