Abstract:
This study is about the effect of carbon content and calcination temperatures on the characteristics of C-doped TiO2 prepared by sol gel method. Synchrotron radiation with high energy and resolution was applied for the identification of the electronic and crystal structure. C-Ti-O was the structure lowing the band-gap from 3.2 eV to 2.9 eV. Thus, it’s useful to extend the absorption light to visible light.
