Abstract:
This study was investigated the effect of nano-sized silica particle on the insulation resistance of non-oriented electrical steel. Several kind of nano-sized Silica Sol was added to coating solution consist of Polyester-Metal phosphate system. The mechanism of insulation resistance on surface of electrical steel was investigated. Thereafter it is found that nano-sized silica particle was strongly influenced on the insulation resistance of electrical steel sheet.
