This device is build as part of a system for Inhalation Drug Therapy. Details of modelling and optimisation of this device are explained. The operation of the device is resonance dependent. To arrive at a higher throughput and a more reliable operation, modeshape analysis has been performed. Finally an improved design was proposed which uses modeshape targeting. Final results are a fast prototyping platform and a set of design rules. | | View paper | | ISBN: | 0-9666135-4-6 |
