Electroosmotic Microfluidic Flows with Random Zeta Potential

,

Keywords: , ,

Average electroosmotic ows in the presence of axially-varying zeta potentials are shown to be plug-like, with variances which depend on radial position across the capillary. Consequences for the dispersion of samples are examined theoretically and through numerical simulation.
