NSTI Announces Call for Submissions For NanoTech Ventures 2006

NanoTech Ventures 2006, the world's largest and only tradeshow to bring together technology IP, technology ventures, industrial partners and investors, is an ideal forum for both “seed” and “early-stage” companies to demonstrate their technologies and market advantages before the financial community and secure funding.CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 20, 2006--The Nano Science & Technology Institute (www.NSTI.org) today announced it was accepting submissions for presenters at NanoTech Ventures 2006, the world's largest and only tradeshow to bring together technology IP, technology ventures, industrial partners and investors. NanoTech Ventures 2006 is an ideal forum for both "seed" and "early-stage" companies, giving each group the opportunity to demonstrate their technologies and market advantages before the financial community and secure funding.
The NanoTech Ventures 2006 is scheduled for May 8-9 at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston.
"NanoTech Ventures 2006 is the only venue that brings together the technical and business communities into one venue to share their ideas and explore potential opportunities," said Matthew Laudon, executive director for NSTI. "Selected companies will be able to network with a variety of groups including the NSTI Nanotech Ventures Vetting Team, corporate capitalists, venture capitalist, potential business partners as well as the business development community. The result will be some very exciting deal flow."
The annual event runs in conjunction with Nanotech 2006, the largest nano and small technology event in the U.S. The popular event is expected to bring in over 3,000 scientists, engineers, business development professionals, funding companies and government officials to Boston's Hynes Convention Center for the world's largest nanotechnology venture forum.
To join the NanoTech Ventures 2006 community as a presenter, submit an executive summary of your company for review by the NSTI-NIR vetting team. Selection companies will be given 15 minute presentations. To submit your company for consideration, go to http://www.nsti.org/Nanotech2006/Development/ventures.html. The submission deadline is March 1, 2006.
NanoTech Ventures 2006 runs concurrently with Nanotech 2006, Clean & Controlled Environments (in conjunction with Vicon Publishing's Controlled Environments) and BioNano 2006. The conference will begin on May 8 and run through May 11 with an exposition featuring about 300 exhibitors.
