Freescale Expands Operations in India

Freescale Semiconductor Inc. announced this month it plans to expand its India operations by adding a 100,000-square-foot facility in Bangalore. The new facility will focus on R&D activities in software for wireless technologies. Freescale has a sizable presence in India—the company recently acquired a campus in Noida, and has had a design center in New Delhi since 2005.
Dr. Bruce White, Manager of Advanced CMOS at Freescale, was a corporate speaker at this year’s NSTI Nanotech 2006 Conference in Boston, the largest nanotechnology conference and trade show in North America.
