Investments to be made in companies developing hardware and software technologies to enhance the capabilities of Intel’s Ultrabook™

Intel’s Ultrabook™ is a new tablet to enter the technology marketplace, which seeks to bring the ultimate in mobile functionality-a laptop with advanced tablet features. The Intel Capital Ultrabook™ Fund will invest the $300 Million over the next four years in companies developing advanced technologies that could be applied to the tablet, such as longer battery life and better storage capacity. Over time, the investments made by Intel will ensure a continuous stream of innovation for its mobile devices.
