California Community College Offers Free Innovative Nanotechnology Training Program

San Bernardino Community College District offers training in various areas, including electronic devices, materials characterization, and optoelectronic devices
The nanotechnology training program is offered through The Center for the Advancement of Nanotechnology at San Bernardino Community College. The May 2011 class had 37 participants who will graduate shortly; 2 in this class have already received job offers. The students get hands-on experience in the labs and with instruments, including some training taking place at UC Riverside’s College of Engineering Labs. Funds for the training program were provided by California’s Economic Development and Corporate Training division.
