UCLA and Hewlett Packard Able to Analyze the Details of Memristors

Production of these electronic circuits could be used to mimic the network of the human brain
Memristors are constructed using a thin film of titanium dioxide between two electrodes. Until now, the most advanced miniscule x-rays have been unable to determine the inner workings of the memristors. By being able to understand how the switching occurs in a memristor in real time, researchers can now create a functioning prototype.
