North America’s Largest Emerging Tech Venture Forum Takes Place June 16, 2011 at NSTI Nanotech/TechConnect World!
More than 60 Pre-Screened Companies from the US, Canada, and Europe will present in the areas of nanotech, cleantech, and biotech
The NSTI Nanotech & TechConnect Venture Forum, which will take place June 16 at the Hynes Convention Center, is the world’s largest venue for young companies working with nanoscale technologies, cleantechnologies, and biotechnologies.
Each presenting company has been pre-screened by the TechConnect Advisory Committee, which includes more than 70 members representing leading business, investment, and research organizations from around the world. Presenting companies range from seed up to C-round levels of financing, and are seeking investment, corporate partners, or both.
On June 16, the TechConnect Venture Forum will open with presentations from leading corporate venture capitalists, including BP, Chevron, Honda, and Panasonic. The afternoon program will consist of company pitches, followed by a networking reception for presenters, speakers, and attendees.
The annual NSTI Nanotech and TechConnect Venture Forum covers more than a dozen industry sectors impacted by emerging technologies, including advanced materials, renewable energy, traditional energy, electronics, and biotech/pharma.
TechConnect is pleased to have the support of the National Venture Capital Association, the National Association of Seed & Venture Funders. Several leading venture firms participated in the company review process as an Advisor, including Atrium Capital, Harris & Harris, In-Q-Tel, MSBi Valorisation, NanoDimension AG, Rockport Capital, and Sofinnova Ventures.
