UCLA Receives DARPA Grant for Non-Volatile Logic

Engineering researchers to receive $8.4 M to study novel non-volatile electronic technology
Researchers at UCLA’s Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science will conduct research into the various components used to develop non-volatile logic, including studying materials, fab and testing, and the development of circuits and design tools. UCLA’s goal is to develop a prototype of the non-volatile logic circuit, which, if successful, could lead to novel low-power, high-performance technologies for the spintronics and electronics industries. In addition to the research team from UCLA, the project will involve researchers from UC Irvine, Yale University and the University of Massachusetts. RSS feed of Nano World News
