Corporate Profile: Lockheed Martin

Mr. Bjornulf White is manager of business development at Lockheed Martin MS2, a business unit of Lockheed Martin with more than 12,000 employees. He is responsible for identifying and championing strategic opportunities that leverage core capabilities in new markets, such as the energy and health care sectors.
Bjornulf WhiteMost recently, he has been active in the renewable and clean technology sector, and leads Lockheed Martin MS2’s efforts in the biomass/biofuels area. He also is part of the team leading Lockheed Martin’s utility-scale solar power venture with Starwood Energy Group.

At the TechConnect Summit, Mr. White will focus on capabilities Lockheed Martin brings to the energy market, specifically in renewable and clean energy. He tells TechConnect, “Lockheed Martin's core capabilities are a natural fit with the new energy innovations taking place. Our MS2 business is applying its expertise to solar, biofuels, marine renewable energy programs, and fuel cell efforts. I will discuss our approach to forming strategic partnerships to pursue each of these areas.” In addition to offering engineering expertise to produce clean and renewable energy, Lockheed Martin is leveraging its systems networking capabilities to integrate these energy technologies.
