“Smart” Solar Company Closes $40 Million Financing Round
California company plans to use funds to expand operations and strengthen financials
Enphase Energy has developed the Enphase Microinverter System, which greatly improves the reliability and productivity of solar power systems. Recently named as a “CNBC Top 15 Best Green Tech Start-Up,” Enphase Energy markets their Microinvertor System as the first and only commercially available system currently available to the market. The company received its latest round of financing from 7 venture capital firms, including lead firm Bay Partners, plus existing investors that include Rockport Capital and Applied Ventures LLC.
