“Ray” vehicle utilizes advanced cleantech and nanotech innovations
Kia’s hybrid car is being built to reach a driving distance of 50+ miles per single battery charge. The interior of the “Ray” vehicle uses eco-friendly materials to deflect heat, which allows for optimal climate control. The body of the car has integrated “cool car” technology, which is comprised of nano-laminate films and cool-glazing materials. The “Ray” was unveiled at the 2010 Chicago Auto Show this month, but the company has not set a date for when the car will enter the automotive market.
