Goodrich to Acquire Atlantic Inertial Systems
Major customers of AIS include defense contractors and US and international military forces
Goodrich Corporation has signed an agreement to acquire AIS Global Holdings LLC (AIS). AIS, also known as Atlantic Inertial Systems, is a provider of mission-critical hardware for the military and defense industries, and has extensive capabilities in areas including systems design and MEMS sensor design and fabrication. Goodrich purchased AIS for $375M US. The deal is set to close by the end of the year. Goodrich’s acquisition of AIS places the defense giant on track to continue to grow military and sensor capabilities for the defense sector.
