HyperSolar Creates Technology that Uses Solar Power to Produce Renewable Natural Gas

Company announces it files patent application that makes renewable natural gas using a mixture of sunlight, water and carbon dioxide

HyperSolar seeks to create the first of its kind solar-powered, nanoparticle system. The innovative system would be able to mimic photosynthesis, allowing the free hydrogen, reacted with carbon dioxide, to produce methane-the main component in natural gas. The company’s radical system would allow for natural gas to be created above ground harnessing the power of the sun, which would allow for natural gas production that is safer to extract and produce, and would be done using sustainable and renewable methods.
