Nano World Headquarters Positions Itself to Boost U.S. Economy
Non-Profit Nanotechnology Center Planned to Spur Energy Innovation and Job Creation
The non-profit Nano World Headquarters (NWHQ) has officially launched its website and is ramping up its development plans. NWHQ is a newly created nanotechnology collaboration center based in Houston, Texas. The Center will provide an important avenue for innovation and foster the growth of new nano businesses to strengthen the position the United States as a leader in this growing field. Ms. Valerie Moore, PhD, a well-known expert and researcher in nanotechnology, will serve as the Center's Executive Director.
The Center will be located in the Water Lights District in Pearland, Texas, just outside of Houston. The development is a $700 million, 1.9 million square foot planned mixed-use lifestyle center located strategically by Texas Medical Center, the world’s largest medical and research center.
