New Panasonic Fuel Cell Development Office Europe in Germany

Company’s fuel cell office will focus on developing residential fuel cells for the European market
Panasonic launched its first residential fuel cell system (micro CHP 1), ENE FARM, in Japan in 2009 with much success. The electronics giant now hopes for similar success in the European market, and will house the PFCOE in its current European R&D Center in Germany. The new office will focus on developing and adjusting the fuel cells for optimal operation in Europe, as well as study the different operating conditions between Europe and Japan.
