Saudi Arabia Unveils World’s Largest University for Women

Princess Nora University will be able to enroll close to 50,000 students, and includes three research centers for nanotechnology, bioscience, and IT
his month, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah officially opened the US Princess Nora bint Abdulrahman University (PNU). At a cost of just over $5 Billion+ US, the sprawling campus includes dormitories that can house up to 12,000 students, university hospital, laboratories, elevated railway, and campus buildings that utilize solar paneling which will provide power for heating and air conditioning. Finance Minister Ibrahim Al-Assaf was quoted, “Princess Nora University is a symbol of women's education and women's participation in the building of this nation.”
