MIT Alumnus David H. Koch Gives $5 Million ‘Nano’ Grant for Prostate Cancer Research

Mr. Koch, who is a prostate cancer survivor, has given a $5 million grant to assist a multi-institutional research team to develop nanoscale technologies to treat metastatic prostate cancer. The team was created by the Prostate Cancer Foundation, and includes Dr. Robert Langer from MIT, Dr. Omid Farokhzad of Brigham and Women's Hospital, and researchers from Cornell University and Weill Medical College.
