Dow and University of Toledo Enter into Solar R&D Collaboration

Both parties look to help reduce costs of solar energy
The collaboration could also include the addition of other universities or businesses in the future. The partnership between Dow and the University of Toledo offers the research teams the opportunity to share data and technology. In 2007, the university constructed the Wright Center for Photovoltaics Innovation and Commercialization, which will be a key center for the solar agreement. Dow Corning has two Solar Solutions Application Centers in the United States, with facilities under construction in Europe and Korea.
