10th Annual NSTI Nanotech 2007 Sets Record Attendance in Silicon Valley, CA
NSTI Nanotech Will Return to Boston June 1-6, 2008.
The Nano Science and Technology Institute (NSTI) announced this month that final attendance numbers for the Nanotech 2007 conference and trade show exceeded 3,500 attendees, which was the largest attendance rate in conference history. This year’s attendees represented research, commercial and investment professionals from over 70 countries. The results make our Nanotech conference series, which started in 1997, the largest nanotechnology-focused conference in North America.
NSTI Nanotech 2007 continues to draw attendees that represent a true cross section of the small tech ecosystem, including: scientists, researchers, investigators, industrial and medical users, tool and materials companies, IP and business lawyers, government officials and the financial communities.
“NSTI Nanotech 2007 in Santa Clara exceeded our expectations. We saw attendance jump to almost 3,500,” said Dr. Matthew Laudon, Director of the Nano Science and Technology Institute. “During Nanotech 2007, we featured more than thirty Symposia focused on multiple disciplines and industries, including energy, life sciences, electronics, and materials. Once again, we also featured programs that focused on nanotech investments, and an early stage nanotech venture forum-which is the largest in the US. Both programs had strong attendance and interest.”
By showing research and commercial professionals how nanotechnology is offering real solutions to a growing number of problems, the NSTI and the global nanotechnology community continues to focus its efforts on innovative research, results and market penetration.
Nanotech 2008 will be held in Boston, Massachusetts June 1-6, 2008.
