Duralar coatings were created using proprietary diamond-based nanotechnology that provides advanced durability for various applications, including oil & gas, automotive, and aerospace. The company’s European headquarters is in Italy, but they have presence in Brazil and Mexico. Andrew Tudhope, President of Duralar US, notes in the release, “We believe the Tucson region is an emerging technology hub. We chose this market for several reasons, including access to technology at The University of Arizona, an attractive cost of living and strong regional support.”
