DSM and Rostec will explore collaborations in the “field of conversion of cellulosic biomass from forestry and agriculture to fermentable sugars for the production of biofuels and/or biobased chemicals” and the manufacturing of bio-based products. Both companies will also work towards increasing the performance of Russia’s optical fiber networks using DSM’s UV-curable resins optical fiber materials. This MOU aligns with DSM’s main businesses in Russia, which include food and feed ingredients, biotechnology, fiber materials, and engineering plastics.
