NthDegree, located in Arizona, has developed a new method for fabricating printed semiconductors that utilizes inorganic semiconductor inks. The company has patented and patent pending ink technology that allows a standard high-speed printing press to print this ink so that the specific semiconductor properties are transferred to paper, plastic or other substrate materials. NthDegree will use the capital to continue the market launch of its printed lighting and conductive ink technologies, and to fund more research into next-generation solar and battery applications of its printed semiconductor technologies.
