Analog Devices Inc. Group Working on Advanced Development of Microphotonics
According to Ray Stata, Chairman of Analog Devices Inc. (ADI), microphotonics could begin to replace several system electrical components in less than five years. ADI is currently working on product concepts for the marketplace. ADI’s group includes the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (U.S.), which has a leading Microphotonics Center that is currently researching and developing microphotonic technology.
