Siemens and Xintek to Form X-Ray Company in North Carolina
Siemens Medical Solutions and Xintek Inc. will establish a joint venture company focused on developing advanced x-ray source technology. XinRay Systems, to be located in Research Triangle Park, N.C., will focus on x-ray technology for various uses in diagnostic imaging. The company will include staff from both Xintek and Siemens facilities in Germany and China. The two companies have been working together on various projects over the past two years in North Carolina.
