University and IP Company in Arkansas Announce Novel Nanowires Now Available for Commercialization Opportunities
Intellectual Property Partners LLC has exclusively licensed titanium-based nanowires created at the University of Arkansas by a research team led by Dr. Z. Ryan Tian, an assistant professor of chemistry and biochemistry. When the novel nanowires are assembled into a free-standing membrane, the nanowires greatly enhance the material and provide the ideal solution for chemicals and water filtration. The firm believes the nanowires could also have applications in the textile, energy, and pharmaceutical industries. IPP LLC worked with the University of Arkansas Technology Development Foundation in licensing the IP from the university.
