US Pharmaceutical Company’s Nano-Enabled Product Receives Preliminary Approval from FDA
NUCRYST Pharmaceuticals Corporation, a Massachusetts-based company, has received 510(k) approval from the FDA for its prescription topical cream that contains NPI 32101, the company’s proprietary nanocrystalline silver. The NPI 32101 is described by the company as a broad-spectrum antimicrobial barrier topical cream, and now with the 510 (k) approval, NUCRYST is now ramping up commercialization efforts for its innovative topical cream.
