Xerox Enters Into Public-Private Nanotech Research Partnership with Canada
The Xerox Research Centre of Canada (XRCC), the National Research Council Canada (NRC), the National Institute for Nanotechnology (NINT), and the Government of Alberta will provide more than $4 million for R&D of materials-based nanotechnology through 2009. This is the country’s first major public-private nanotechnology research partnership. The partners will contribute to funding, staffing, and infrastructure needed to create a research program focused on developing nanotech-based discoveries for commercial use, including document and display-related technologies.
