Merck Forms Alliance with Nano Company
Merck announced this month that it has entered into an alliance with Nano Terra LLC, a nanotechnology co-development company focused on bringing to market nanotechnology-based products and solutions. Nano Terra will work with Merck to create novel properties for the company’s line of specialty chemicals. Through this agreement, Merck is looking to Nano Terra to help enhance the precision, control and cost of their proprietary specialty chemicals. Nano Terra will conduct the development work for Merck in cooperation with the company’s scientific team. Both companies anticipate the novel chemical solutions to be available to Merck customers by next year.
